Today, October 5th, is my mom and (step) dad's 40th anniversary! They spent this past week celebrating in Puerto Vallarta and will be en route home later on today.To me, they embody what a marriage should be like. Although life has not always been easy for them and there have been many, many challenges along the way, they are still together, still very obviously love one another and continue to share that love with their 5 children, son and daughters-in-law, and six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.
Happy Anniversary, mom and dad; and MANY MANY more!
