These pictures were taken this afternoon. The kitties, who now come downstairs pretty much on their own whenever the mood strikes them, are getting more and more confident around Lucy.
Our Goose has been a real trooper! She has been very patient. But, alas, we have to figure out a new cat box arrangement (perhaps put a cat door on the door going into the laundry room). I came downstairs a few minutes ago to find Lucy in there digging around for a "tasty treat".

putting the cat food and LB in the garage (with the cat door) was the best thing we ever did. bo's poop stinks so bad, i just don't know how we did it when it was upstairs.
plus, like lucy, maggie always tried to find treats in the LB. disgusting. after the LB went in the garage, mags could still fit through the cat door - so nathaniel had to make a kitty box container.
good thing for you is lucy will never be able to fit through a cat-sized door. :) plus you have the mud room by the garage - so you can use that rather than the garage!!!
cute pics! glad lucy isn't too hyper with the kitties around. i bet she 's sleeping good after a day of cat-sitting...
