Puerto Vallarta
We leave for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, tomorrow bright and early. We have a 6:00 am flight out of RDU to Dallas, then, Dallas to Puerto Vallarta (arriving there around 12:45 pm or so Margarita-time).
We've never been to PV, so, we're excited to go somewhere new. We're staying a our time share's sister resort, Villa del Palmar, Puerto Vallarta. We stayed at Villa del Palmar, Cabo, before, so we're pretty sure what to expect as far as the resort goes.
Villa del Palmar, Puerto VallartaI did some research on Trip Advisor, got some good tips from fellow Trip Advisor members, so, we're armed with some Intel. But, for the most part, we basically want to "chill". Eat, drink, sleep, play cards on our lanai, lay by the pool, swim in the ocean, experience some new restaurants, eat a few fresh fish tacos, duck into a few shops, etc.
So, I'll be blogging about our adventure in Puerto Vallarta when we return!

The ocean there is really rocky, so consider yourself warned.
The pool and the slide are better than the seawater. Also, you'll notice as you fly in and if you look on google earth that the city's wastewater is piped to the middle of the bay. If the winds or tide are wrong, the effluent comes back to town.
So, swim in the pool! Chlorine is your friend in Mexico!
Yummy!
I just read that it is supposed to rain every freaking day we are there.
Good thing I'm bringing Scrabble, a deck of cards, and lots of books.
The pool sounds good to me!
